Heading back to Austin, arriving in New York I was overcome with the a primal drive I'd liken to that a Salmon heading upstream. Only I was heading to Starbucks.

Diwali -- aka The Fesitval of Lights. In Austin, we have 37th Street at Christmas and the Trail of Lights; In India they have an entire country. New Delhi (where I am) is  an amazingly beautiful city at this time of year. We started it off today in the office at the of the work day with a puja (prayer) that I got to lead. I am very appreciative for what my friends and colleagues here have chosen to share with me.
