2006 Year-end Review
2006 was a great year. It was also a pivotal year. We continued to build our business by helping others build theirs, and enjoyed the company of close friends around the country.
2006 started out with a trip to Disneyland, where Dave was speaking at the WOMMA conference. For Jen and Broch, it was a fun-filled week. We launched HearThis.com at the conference, and it was an immediate hit. As the year got underway, karting started. Losing his first two races, Dave would come back and grab second place in the 2006
80cc shifter championship, missing the crown by 2 points out of over 2500. Not that he was keeping track of that. Mid-summer we headed back to the beach house in Wingaersheek. Family, great friends, great times. Lobster. Kids that have grown up together since before they knew they were growing up together.
In August we went to Ruidoso, New Mexico, guests of our friends Mark and Kaye Feist. Nothing like 50-degree nights in August. The fall saw us heading back to NYC for ad:tech. Broch got to visit the Guitar Museum--he started taking classical lessons earlier in the year. He also got to visit the NYPD station at Times Square. What a great group of officers. New York’s finest.
We ended the year skating at Rockefeller Center, heading back home in time for the holidays.
Our best wishes to eveyone, and our thanks for the people around us.
